Back to school DIY Binder Folder { Top #Backtoschool Post }

Sometimes I wish I was back in school and be able to shop for brand new school supplies! The thought of a fresh notebook, sharpened pencils and art materials, make me plain happy.

Materials:

This craft took me about 60 minutes; it was very soothing to paint each area with acrylic paint. I wanted to create a geometric look, with triangles and bold colors. Last year I made this binder along with a pencil-case and notebook. What do you think?  Do you like last year’s design, or this one?

Quick tip: when you are applying the second coat of paint, the binder might “bubble” up, but don’t worry. Once the paint is completely dry, the surface of the binder will remain smooth.

Happy crafting! Looks like you like lovely stationery, go check out the Daily Greeting card Freebie I’m running now.
