Gift wrapping with pink and gold

Hello! I started wrapping my gifts today and super excited to submit this post to Anthropologie. Yesterday, when I was on Instagram, one of the crafters I follow had a gorgeous photo of a gift and information for Anthropologie’s  gift wrapping contest! So here it goes ;)

First, I found this lovely paper at Target and bought all the rolls they had left (3!) Then, I went through my crafting supplies and found a pom trim and two swans beads I’ve had forever!

The pom trim ended up being too heavy for the delicate swan pattern. Instead, I found an elastic gold string that I put through the swan bead’ hole. That’s it! Very simple and pretty.

I’m giving these gifts to my daughter and my mom. I have many gifts to put together but when you are wrapping with such beautiful materials, the wrapping is so fun, time goes by fast!

Wish me luck! If I end up being one of the contest’s winner, the prize is $500 credit to Anthropologie. Eeeeeeek, I would be beyond happy!

P.S: I’ve searched Target’s website looking for my swans paper, (browsed 20 pages, twice!) and could not find it. I just bought this paper so it should be in stock at your local Target.

The swan beads I used are from Amazon :)

Oh wow don’t blame you, who wouldn’t want $500 gift card to Anthropologie? Sure hope you win. When will you find out?
Good idea using delicate gold stretchie cord, much better match. The swan paper is very ladylike and perfect for female gifts, then the swan beads, oh dear.
I would pick your gift wrapping if I were the contest judge.
I have been making stab at few more ornaments for gifts for friends and family. Just a card just didn’t feel right.
That’s how I work, get an idea, go for it, am very spontaneous crafter.
Will be rooting for you to win.
Have wonderful last few days of holiday season.
