I love when I am efficient with my time and I can keep organized amid 3 little ones and staying home. My iphone has been quite the “personal assistant” and I’ve collected my top ten apps in no particular order.
Adobe Photoshop Express: With this photo editing app you can quickly make any picture look great! Their “auto correct” feature adjusts all the “levels”, “saturation” and “brightness and contrast” in a snap. I love it and there is so much more you can do with it. Cost: Free
Amazon Fresh: Buying groceries from your phone is a life and time saver! You can log in to your account with the same user name you have on Amazon.com. They have a minimum of $100 order to give you free shipping. What I usually do is shop for 2 or 3 items and then choose my “doorstep” delivery time. Amazon will save your time slot for 60 minutes, then I give myself that time to shop online. Cost: Free
Nowvel Photobooks: Making photo books takes for-e-ver. But not anymore with Nowvel App. Make a gorgeous photo book in minutes. Check out the book I made using Nowvel. The quality is the best I’ve seen! Cost: Free
Audible: This is an Amazon service and for $7 a month you can download a whole book series! My first download was “The Magic Tree House” book 1 through 7. No, I’m not 8 years old but my son is almost 9. When he is restless and needs to slow down, I’ll have him listen to an age appropiate audiobook(s) I’ve downloaded. I also play books in the car and sometimes I’ll fall asleep listening to a book. Cost: Free
Poshmark: If you need to consign clothes, Poshmark is very convenient and simple to use. They advertise a lot of high end brands at great prices too! They can handle all the shipping for you at no cost. You have $$$ in your closet! Cost: Free
Offerup: Offerup is a safe place for moms to buy and sell goods, clothing, furniture, you name it. They don’t have a payment method like Ebay so you can decide how to get paid. For me, this is a nice “in between” Craigslist and Ebay.
Notabli: This is another app that will help you organize your family life. Notabli is a private social network for parents. Here, you can capture, record and write about your children’s special moments. Think of it as a digital scrapbook that you would only share with family and close friends. Cost: Free
FighterVerse: This is an app that helps you memorize scripture. Is designed for children and adults with the ability to memorize God’s word at your own pace. Cost: $2.99
Grocery IQ: This app has a database of millions of grocery items, making your grocery list a snap. You can download coupons straight to your list and you can share a list too. Cost: Free
I hope you find this roundup helpful and that it frees up time for you to write a lovely snail mail letter to a friend or loved one ;)
