A few posts ago I shared with you a set of woodland themed cake toppers for my daughter’s birthday cake. Now I get to show you the rest of the woodland party!
With the help of my 6 year’s old imagination and the fabulous people from Kate Aspen, I threw this party with zero stress ;)
What do you think when you hear the word “woodland?” Forest animals? Dark and gloomy trees? My little girl had very specific ideas about how her party would look ;) She loves sunflowers, so I arranged a few of her favorites around the house. I used the vases I made a few weeks ago and the blue and yellow contrast turned out very nice.
Kate Aspen sent to my home a beautiful set of party favors, personalized with my daughter’s name. She loved the flowers illustrations because I quote her: “Forests should be full of pretty flowers!” Indeed, we had the cutest party favors for our guests.
I found a printable mask of a fox here and printed a few on thick card-stock paper. During the party, the kids colored the masks and with the help of their parents assembled them with elastic cord to fit their heads. Soon after the fox mask craft, we had a “woodland” adventure in our backyard. The little “foxes” went on a hunt for hidden plastic animal toys.
These are the cake toppers from my previous post.
Gorgeous personalized banner from Kate Aspen, flower watercolor details on heavy white card-stock paper.
Personalized banner, party favor box and succulents from Kate Aspen.
Custom Fox stickers I made to seal a Kraft bag for the kids to take their “loot” home from the piñata below.
Every party should have a unicorn piñata! This little guy held quite a bit of small toys and candy.
Is a woodland party in your future? I’ve compiled a list of the decor, crafts, and printables I used.
