Inspiration: {My favorite sources for craft supplies and more}

2013/07/11

One of my favorite craft supplies, washi and glittler tape.

One of my favorite craft supplies, washi and glittler tape.

“Where do you get your craft supplies from?” This is a question I’ve asked other crafters before, many times! I’ve bookmarked links for craft supplies here and there and I also have a huge board on Pinterest, but I thought I should compile my top “finds” and share them with you in no particular order. I hope you discover a new place to find great supplies and If you know of a great shop/resource, please share it under comments ;)

Amazon: I’ve bought on Amazon just about everything! Their rubber stamps inventory is pretty awesome. My favorite finds are a watercolor leaf rubber stamp, a cloud puncher and an adorable set of 3 little girls rubber stamps.

Ben Franklins: I’ve mentioned in a former post that this was my “happy place” and I can’t rave enough about this craft store. Now, you should know Ben Franklins is not a chain retail store but each store is independently owned and I think for this reason they provide excellent service. My Ben Franklins store has a die cutting center that you can use for free once you buy paper there. I made these little notebooks using their dies.

Olive Box: I’ve blogged about this subscription service for paper lovers before. Every month Olive Box will send you a box full of goodies curated by former buyer of Bloomingdale’s and Barneys Grace Kang. I’ve received hard to find washi tape, knot & bow stickers, and my first copy of “Sweet Paul” magazine. They’ve also sent me adorable stationery products that have inspired me to design one of my favorite crafts: mini contact cards ;)

In The Clear Etsy Shop: Here I’ve found my top most favorite washi tape. They mostly offer party supplies but you can also find crafting materials that will inspire yo to craft some more!

Save On Crafts: This is a popular choice for crafters and you probably have it book marked. Please take a look at the great supplies I’ve found on this store here.

Shop Olive Manna: I’ve been eyeing a gorgeous bakers twine that I pinned a while back. I could purchase so many goodies at this shop. Take a look at this bakers twine which is sparkly!

Factory Direct Crafts: This online store has a great wood supplies inventory. I blogged about a quick craft using wood beads and I will buy more wood beads from this store. Check it out here.

Fawn and Flora: Just today, I received a newsletter that Fawn and Flora re-opened their online store. My favorite items are their unique cabochon pieces and natural wood buttons under “Bits and Bobs” section.

Omiyage Blog: This is a FUN and creative blog/shop that has a great inventory of washi tape, baker’s twine, glitter tape and just now they have launched a line of wooden templates to make all sorts of envelopes and a cute gift box. Check it this out here.

I hope you find new materials to continue to craft or to begin crafting! There are so many resources out there, it can be very overwhelming. I wish I could have found a list of craft supplies stores when I began crafting. Hence, the purpose of this article! As always, I’d love to hear from you! See you soon :)

    Thank you for this – always love learning about new etsy stores! I went a little crazy earlier this year building up my washi stash. I also shop at my local scrapbook store, twopeasinabucket (they frequently have sales), Simon says stamp, and amazon.

      Ha ha, washi tape is my downfall! I now glitter tape too! I will check out the Etsy store you mentioned and Simon says stamps! Cheers :)
