PINK Back2school DIY supplies

Pink Back to school DIY supplies

School season is approaching fast! I will have all three kiddos in school and my youngest being a girl, I couldn’t help myself and made her a binder, notebook and clipboard. The funny thing is that she is only going into preschool, but you can’t never start them too young with cute school supplies right? Please take a look below at the list of supplies I used. A tutorial will follow this weekend. But I’m posting the pictures and supplies in case you want to get started this weekend ;)

1: I found this notebook for 1$ at Ben Franklin dollar section.
2: I color blocked the notebook with pink washi tape. The polka dots are 3/4 inch circle stickers made of kraft material. They really blend perfectly with the notebook. You can find these at Amazon.
3: The alphabet sticker is from Pebbles and you can find it at Scrapbook website. The crown sticker I used as the “dot” for the letter “i” is an old sticker I made for my daughter’s princess party. To make this you need a crown puncher, pink sparkly card stock and a xyron or just plain glue.

1: The clipboard is also from Ben Franklin’s dollar section. Then the paint I used is soy based, (more kid friendly and less chemicals ;) The paint is “Delta Soy Pink Camilla” and you should find it at any craft store.
2: I used the same circle stickers from Amazon.
3: I also used the same alphabet stickers from “Pebbles“.

1: This binder is very sturdy and well made! I also found it at Ben Franklin on sale for 2.99$.
2: I used the same soy based pink paint mentioned above.
3: The stickers are the same I used for the notebook and clipboard.
4: I used a white leather cord to secure the binder. The bird shape is something I made a while ago. I used a bird die from Ben Franklin’s die cut center and stamped it with a chevron texture rubber stamp. You can learn how to make the leather wrapped around the binder from a prior post here.

Thank you for reading! As always I heart your comments!

PS: I worked on this blog while I was on a mini road trip using my iPhone. I layed out every photo with this great app called “Rhonna Designs”. I’ve mentioned this app before and basically is like having an amazing photo editor, great fonts and clipart all in your phone.
