Hello! I have a quick and easy tutorial for a mini notebook. In this case I made one for my sweet little girl. She is always cracking me up with all the funny things she says! I hope to record her hilariousness in this notebook. Please take a look at the mini tutorial below. As always, I love love hearing from you! Love! Me.
1: Exacto knife. You can find this at any craft store.
2: Choose a 5×7 photo of your child, or any other subject of your choice. Then cut 2″ inches of your photo vertically and glue it to the very far right side of your notebook.
3: You can find these notebooks at the 1$ section of Ben Franklin.
4: Gold glitter tape found at any craft store or Amazon.
1: Once you have your photo glued on your notebook you are ready to add your first strip of glitter tape.
2: You will start at the far left of your notebook and tape 1 strip of glitter tape. You will tape 3 strips total and try to space them 1/8″ apart.
3: You can add a decorative photo corner to your notebook to make it cuter ;) I found these photo corners at “Papyrus” store. I’ll try to find an online source for you.
1: Using your exacto knife (very carefully) cut a strip of glitter tape in half.
1: You will add the thinner stripe of glitter tape next to your 3 strips of tape. Try to space it 1/8 of inch apart.
2: Cut three more thin strips to tape them horizontally at the top of your notebook. Try to space each strip 1/8″ apart.
1: Follow the same instructions for the back of your notebook. I only taped 1 thick strip of tape and 1 thin strip. And you are done!
I forgot one detail: if you notice the side of my notebook, I stamped my daughter’s name and year. I hope to make more of these and have a little library of mini notebooks for each of my kids… We’ll see…

Cute! I actually have most of the materials for this craft. Except sparkle tape, but obviously I need that anyway.
Once you buy sparkle tape, you might want to purchase it in all colors! So great you liked my craft and visiting my blog!
Thank you!
