I finally had a chance to upload my son’s minecraft party photos ;) The party was LOTS of fun and my stress level very low. Please take a look below at the details and links to all the resources I used. This is one of the smoothest parties I’ve ever thrown. Granting the fact we had a house full of boys! Hope you enjoy ;)
Minecraft banner

Party banner, cake and food.
- Cake: please take a look at my cake tutorial here.
- Party banner: this awesome blogger designed a party banner and then posted it as a freebie here. I printed it and pasted it on to a chip board banner.
- Table: green plastic tablecloth from target and grass looking decor from Amazon.
Minecraft welcome sign

Welcome sign outside my home.
- Sign: I bought 2 pieces of wood at Ben Franklin craft store and covered them with green and black duck tape. Very easy and no mess!
- “Stefan welcomes you”: You can download the font “minecrafter” from dafont.com. Then print it out and cut it with scissors or an exacto knife.
- Stickers: Minecraft stickers are from Amazon.
Minecraft Photo Booth
- Poster: I used a white poster board, green and black duct tape. I started covering the poster board with both tapes, trying to evoke a “grid”. Then I found an image of “Steve” and “creepers” on google. Made a prints and glued it to the poster board.
- Photo booth props: I made these using Ben Franklin die cut center. Once I had my shapes cut, I used chevron paper straws as sticks.

Crafting table for 8 boys.
- Black envelopes: these contained sheets of home-made stickers. Another awesome blogger created a tutorial on how to print minecraft stickers on address labels! Brilliant.
- Green grass looking decor from amazon
- TNT blocks: visit pixel minecraft paper crafts and download TNT template.
Mining game outdoors

Each boy had a pick axe. The game consisted of each one taking turns to “mine” in the backyard and find 1 treasure chest.
- Pickaxes: I downloaded a diamond pickaxe template from Pixel Minecraft paper crafts website. The template is for a 3D pickaxe, but in order to save time I only used the front and back of the pick axe and glue it on to cardboard paper.
- Treasure chests: I bought 8 wood treasure chest at Ben Franklin and covered them with the chest texture from minecraft. This involved cutting and pasting in Photoshop the exact areas of the chest I needed to cover.
- I bought 8 chests at Ben Franklin
- Please view my tutorial to make one of these ;)

Minecraft pop-corn bags. After the kids were done “mining” in the backyard, I brought them back in to play minecraft. We only have 1 controller at our house, so I had the boys take turns playing and while the other boys watched their friend play, they happily ate kettle corn pop corn.
- Green bag: Ben Franklin die cut center has a template for these bags. I used a bright green card stock paper and found a creeper image on google images.
- Cake time! Please visit my cake tutorial here. I used 9 white tall candles since the birthday boy turned 9.
- I found a template for this bag at another blogger’s website. I imported the template into Photoshop and added “Steve’s” face to the front and back of the bag.
