☛ Quick Craft {3 materials or less}
Hello and welcome to kraft&mint! Are you ready to make your own bulletin board? I came up with this idea at one of my favorite crafts stores, while I was perusing the chalkboard aisle. Please take a look below for tutorial and materials.
Tutorial:
- Begin with a 12 x 12 wood frame (white) or any color of your choice.
- Choose a 12×12 metal board.
- Take the glass out of the wood frame and put aside.
- Insert the metal sheet in the wood frame.
- Secure the metal sheet tight inside the frame.
- You are half way done with your project ;)
- Choose a few fun magnets for your new magnetic board. I chose white magnets to complement the white frame I picked for my craft.
- The metal pin board I chose had a texture with very small holes for push pins.
- Here is a detail view of my board.
- Choose a photo or “quote” to add to your board and voila, you have a modern and practical bulletin board for any room in your home ;)
Thank you for visiting kraft&mint! I hope I’ve inspired you to make your own bulletin board. While I was putting together a list of materials for you, I ran into a few modern looking magnetic bulletin boards. I was surprised to see how expensive these are. Some ran around $100 or more…This craft saved me some money ;)
