Sometimes I wish I was back in school and be able to shop for brand new school supplies! The thought of a fresh notebook, sharpened pencils, and art materials, make me plain happy.
Materials:
- kraft binder
- pink paint
- cyan paint
- masking tape
This craft took me about 60 minutes; it was very soothing to paint each area with acrylic paint. I wanted to create a geometric look, with triangles and bold colors. Last year I made this binder along with a pencil-case and a notebook. What do you think? Do you like last year’s design or this one?
Back to school DIY Binder Folder Tutorial

Quick tip: when you are applying the second coat of paint, the binder might “bubble” up, but don’t worry. Once the paint is completely dry, the surface of the binder will remain smooth.
