[dropcap custom_class=”wh”]A[/dropcap]re you looking for a gift for a friend? Or do you want to brighten up your winter clothes? Jewelry with a pop of color is one of the ways I update my typical, black/grey outfit. Now that I’ve put away my summer clothes, I’m looking forward to adding color with a few mix and match bracelets made of faux leather, suede and acrylic rhinestone.

[heading_entrance title=”Let’s take a look at how I made these” text=”Tutorial” custom_class=””][/heading_entrance]
- Begin with one acrylic rhinestone and a two loop prong.
- Using a pair of pliers, gently press on each corner of the prong to secure the rhinestone.
- Cut six inches of chain gold link. Then cut the chain one more time in the middle, and use a jump ring to secure the prong’s loops to the chain.
- You can use a lobster clasp and finish the first bracelet.
- Now for the second bracelet, cut seven inches of faux leather.
- Gather as many gold jump rings as you’d like, and put them through the faux leather cord.
- Once you are satisfied with the “look” of the leather cord, use a toggle clasp in antique bronze and secure the bracelet.
- Experiment with different color of rhinestone, leather cord and gold chain to come up with interesting combinations of bracelets.
