Hello! I’m excited to share with you a project I did in collaboration with Jam Paper, a store known throughout New York as “The Best NYC Paper Store.”
I first heard of Jam Paper while reading Joy’s Cho most recent book “60 ways to create and give joy”. Joy Cho, entrepreneur and DIY queen, extraordinaire, listed Jam Paper under her crafting supplies must list. Coincidentally, Jam Paper contacted me to see if would try a few of their products and design a craft, my answer? A resounding yes!
Are you ready to make back to school folders and binders with a custom design and neon color address labels? You’ll be so happy to see how easy it is to put together this project for back to school.
Recycled Kraft Binder with Neon Address Labels and Yellow Rubber Bands
White Glossy Folder with Neon Address Labels
Tutorial
1) Use a large hexagon punch and cut several hexagons out of neon address labels size 8.5 x 11.
2) Use one sheet of pink neon labels, size 8.5″ x 11″ and cut the sheet in half, then stick it to the top of the binder.
3) Repeat step number two using one sheet of neon yellow address labels size 8.5″ x 11″.
4) Finally use a few hexagon shapes and stick them to the binder to create a similar design as shown on the picture above.
One final touch! Use these rubber bands and tie them together to secure your brand new binder for back to school.
Thank you Jam Paper for introducing me to your fabulous paper and office supplies. I’m very excited to start using my new folders!
