Sometimes I like to step out my comfort zone and try a different approach to a craft. The result? Vibrant pumpkins! I love the Fall and all the orange hues that it brings, but I know I’ll also miss the Summer’s bright and rich colors once the new season arrives. How fun are these pumpkins? Take a peek to see how I made these ;)

Tutorial Make a vibrant pumpkin this Fall DIY
I found a few white artificial pumpkins at my local craft store, not knowing how I would use them for a fall craft. At home, while organizing for the 100th time my supplies, I ran into a blue teal ultra-matte chalk paint I bought a few months ago.
I went ahead and tried the chalk paint on my pumpkins. Then I waited for the paint to dry about one hour in between both coats of paint.
Once the pumpkins were dry, I was super happy with how vibrant the teal turned out.
I’ve had three sets of “Tattly” tattoos for a while, wanting to try the temporary tattoos in the Summer. But I never got around trying them so I thought they would look very nice on my new teal pumpkins.
Then I followed the instructions on the back of the tattoos and applied three tattoos for each pumpkin.
Aaaah, how exciting to see the tattoos worked!
The teal against an orange background looks great, so I’m thinking I’m going to try to make a table-cloth using this shade of orange.
Will you try to make these pumpkins? You will need two artificial white pumpkins, Tattly tattoos, and Ultra Matte Chalk Paint. Happy Crafting!
Love,
Ursula
