Back to school is in full swing for us and I’m slowly adjusting to our new routine. Now I thought once the kids were in full-time school I would have extra hours to get things done. Wishful thinking!

I realized that I was wasting a lot of time looking for everyday items the kids needed for school. Such as gloves, hats, and essentials things scattered all over their bedrooms and our family living room.

So inspired by my partnership with Cottonelle Megaroll’s 4-rolls- in-1 efficiency, I came up with a set of monogrammed baskets to organize the important items my kids need for school and extracurricular activities. Thus being more efficient with my time!

Eeeek, I’m beyond excited to put these baskets to good use! But first, let me show you how I monogrammed my new storage containers.

You will need:

• Wire Basket
• Wood Letters
• Tan Leather Cord
• Glue

I found three wire baskets, one for each kid. Then while perusing the aisles of my local craft store, I spotted an array of big wood letters that would mesh well with our decor.

First I thought of gluing the letters to the baskets but I wanted to give the containers a unique look and feel. Rummaging through my jewelry craft box, I found three packs of a lovely brown leather cord. Voila! I wrapped the leather cord around each letter and loved how the baskets turned out.

Wrapping a string of leather cord around several sections of my wood letters, I “monogrammed” all baskets with my kids’ first name initial.

Once I had my wood letters secured onto the baskets, I dabbed a little bit of “liquid stitch” glue to each “knot” making sure the leather string wouldn’t become unwrapped.

My organizational kick didn’t stop here. I also labeled two baskets for the kids’ bathroom. It seems like the kids “forget” a lot to refill the toilet paper, and they also become distracted when washing their hands.

Not anymore. My new baskets make it clear on what to do each time they use the bathroom ;)
