Just a few more days for Christmas and I’m still creating ways to make my house festive. Today I’m sharing with you a craft with gorgeous white roses and beautiful holiday greens from the lovely people at Pro Flowers.
I’ve compiled a list of materials and a few links are affiliate links.
Materials
- White Roses and lush greens
- Pink and Mint Vellum Paper
- 1/4″ circle punch
- Light bulb shaped ornament from my local Michaels
- Wood beads garland, similar here
Home Decor:
- White ceramic mason jars, similar here
- Accent tables from Threshold Target (available in stores.)
Tutorial – DIY Flowers Ornament
I started my project with white roses and lush greens.
Had to make confetti with pastel colors using vellum paper in light pink and mint.
I used an ornament in the shape of a light bulb. How cool is this ornament?
Then I placed three roses and added confetti around them. Finally, I closed the light bulb ornament tight.
I experimented with placing the light bulb ornament inside a white ceramic mason jar.
In the end, I decided to use a garland I’ve had for a while made of wood beads. Then I arranged the rest of my flowers inside white ceramic mason jars.
Once the holidays are over, I tend to get a little sad about taking all my decorations down. Do you feel the same way? Or are you ready to put it all way and start fresh? Either way, I think you will love this craft with flowers and a light bulb ornament. It is super easy to make, and this decor might help you transition from holiday decor to a fresh start in January 2016.
What do you think? I always love hearing from you!

Looks beautiful! Any excuse for more flowers (real or faux) in the home is a winner in my book :)
Thank you Jessica! Flowers are such a treat to have around the house ;)
