How was your winter break? The hubs took the kids to play in the snow while I continued to organize the house from the holidays galore. We visited a couple of indoor playgrounds and enjoyed the presents from Christmas. Now back to my mommy routine, laundry, grocery shopping, squeeze in a work out and pick up the kids from school in the afternoon.
And now, I have this charm bracelet that is very easy to put together and so fun to wear! The best part? All the supplies are no more than $30 and you can make this charm bracelet in 30 minutes ;) Take a peek below.
Tutorial
Materials
- Cloud charm
- Star charm
- Cherries charm
- Silver Bracelet
- Wishbone charm (not shown)
- Jump rings
First, I chose a few charms that I found online and at my local craft store. I’ve been collecting these charms for a year, so it was about time I put them to good use.
Notice how I “opened” the jump ring, pulling one side forward and the other side backwards.
Put the jump ring through the charm and close the jump ring while connecting the charm to one of the chain links on the bracelet.
Cloud charm connected to the bracelet.
I repeated the same steps for every charm and ended up with four charms total. When you look for charms online or at a craft store, you’ll find that some are made of silver vs. “silver plated” charms. The latter will be more affordable, and some silver plated charms will look as good as the silver ones, it all depends on how much you want to invest in your charms.
Choosing the charms is the most fun. There are so many options for you to personalize your bracelet. Most of my charms came from Amazon, and I’ve included the links for you.
What do you think? I always love to hear from you! Thank you for reading my blog, for giving me the excitement to challenge myself and to dare inspire anyone to give my designs a try. Much love,
Ursula
