Hello! If you have been following kraft&mint, you have read that I’ve been on a decluttering mission for quite a while now.
And no, I do not have my house perfectly organized… Far from it, but I’m making progress, starting with my closet and discarding sweaters, coats, pants, etc., that I hadn’t worn in years.
After I had done a large closet redux, I realized I was missing a few clothing pieces and went on a hunt for three items in particular. First, a “neutral” color coat, a statement sweater that I could dress up or down and finally a long sweater cardigan in a neutral color. So here I am, sharing with you, my finds, which I intend to keep for years to come! The best part? I found two out of the three items on sale ;)
First piece: Neutral Color Coat
Here I am, venturing away from my “all black & gray” outfit and adding a soft pink color that I adore! I blogged about this coat a few weeks ago and found it on sale. The little bow + cream/gold buttons are my fave detail in this piece. Aside from the blush pink color ;)
Update:
Here are a few alternatives since my coat is sold out :(
Second Piece: Statement Sweater
I’ve seen “a floral trend” on high-end designers lines (which are waaay too far from my price range,) so when I spotted this floral sweater in black, I knew right away I would love it. It is a compliment magnet. Here are a few similar floral sweaters.
Third Piece: Versatile Cardigan
This sweater/cardigan is worth the price. I’ve been eyeing this piece for quite a while, and during the holiday sales, a coupon for 40% off roamed around, and I used it to buy it. I just don’t get sick of wearing it and washing it several times has not decreased the quality of this sweater one single bit.
You can wear it with as a cardigan or slouchy sweater in many different ways. And the color is the soft blush pink that I looove. I know this piece will take through Seattle’s cold spring and beyond.
Seriously, I read on some article that very smart people wear the same thing over and over again. Maybe there is something to this, and I think my new sweater would make the cut.
Oh, it is about 11:30 pm, on a “school night” and I must head to bed. But before I finish this post, I would LOVE to say that it means the world to me you are here, reading kraft&mint. See you soon!

Very versatile, classy and will last, regardless of “trends”. You’ll look lovely in them all. Love the sweaters versatility with style, and stay warm. Been to Seattle so know how chilly it can feel. THe coat is too cute with that little bow and pretty buttons. Happy daze
Hello Jane Ellen! Thank you for your sweet words and compliments :) It made my day!
