Have you heard of Artful Blogging magazine? This lovely mag was one of the catalysts that inspired me to start my blog! Around three years ago, I was at Barnes and Noble taking a mental break. My kids were still young, in ages from three to seven years old. In those days, B&N would be a retreat for me to read, sip a cup of coffee and just be.
I discovered Artful Blogging and enticed by the title of the magazine; I started reading the beautiful stories from women around the world and their experience with blogging intertwined with living a creative life. I was hooked!
Today, I am beyond happy to share with you that my story on how I started my blog appeared in the spring issue of Artful Blogging. Seeing my crafts printed on a couple of spreads and reading what I wrote is a little surreal for me.
Featured crafts: Lips Watercolor DIY and Stem Vases craft.
Projects featured: Make a Rainy Day Activity Box, Personalized Gift Wrapping.
Projects featured: St Patrick’s Day modern crafts, DIY Gold Succulents.
What a journey it has been to blog about my crafts, jewelry projects and everything that inspires me to create with joy. I am super thankful for Artful Blogging magazine’s feature. Maybe this weekend, you could visit your local Barnes & Noble and pick up this magazine. You’ll find many other stories from women in different stages of life, all of them with one thing in common, the joy that comes from expressing themselves creatively and being able to document their creative journey via a blog.
Finally, I’ve compiled a short list of lovely blogs I found while reading my spring issue of Artful Blogging. Hope you are having a good week and as I always say, hearing from you makes my day.
