Daily Greeting Card Project Day Eleven
Yesssss, the week is half way through! Which in the parenting world means nothing, ha, but for some of you, the weekend is a time of leisure and play. I remember before having kids, waking up anytime before 11:00 AM during the weekend, was unheard of! Who would do that sort of thing? Oh, the dose of reality shock I had once we started a family.
Almost thirteen years into motherhood and I’m not the kind of parent that swooning says: “Oh! I wouldn’t trade it for anything!” as the gushing continues. Now, I adore my kids, and I did not know the kind of love I could feel for another human being until I had my first son. But, what I would like to “trade” is my attitude during my adult childless years. The fact that I took for granted the freedom I had which having only to take care of me.
Hence, around 5:00 pm or the “witchy” hour which us parents call, we are asking if “It is wine o’clock yet?”
Who could you give these cards to? I would love love to hear from you! Which card or cards speak to you, or which ones you don’t care for. But please, comment in a nice way thank you ;)
The download for this card has expired but come see my next design!
Cheers!
