DIY iPhone Case
Hello! Today I’m sharing with you an iPhone case DIY using sequins ribbons and glue. Loved how my new iPhone case turned out. Soooo, if you are like me, I rotate my iPhone cases on a regular basis. Buying new ones every month would not be cool with our budget, so I DIY’d one for you and me.
Here are the deets:
DIY iPhone Case Materials:
- A super cool minimalist case from totallee.
- Sequins ribbon.
- No-stitch glue.
- Lot’s of patience ;)
- One glass of “Summer Water rosé” (optional.)
DIY iPhone Case Tutorial
The lovely people at totallee, sent me a leather, minimalistic iPhone case to my home. What’s a crafter to do? Add some sequins ribbon and spell “Hey”
First, practice on a piece of paper the word “hey” a few times. Next, using a pencil try drawing in the case the word “hey”. Then, use this glue and start at the top of the letter “h,” adding a little bit of glue behind the sequins ribbon. I used a thin brush to apply the glue.
Continue to add glue to the back of the sequins ribbon and follow the letter “h”, then the “e” and finally the letter “y”.
My tutorial looks pretty simple, but, you have to have patience when gluing the sequins ribbon to the iPhone case. I glued half of the letter “H” first, then waited for the glue to dry and then tackled the next letter and so on ;)
SO happy with the results. I think this is a project any teenager or tween would enjoy.
Until next time!
Ursula
