DIY Christmas mini trees decor
Yessssss, I just spent an hour and a half making my Christmas mini trees. Beyond thankful that all the kids are back at school and I can get a break during the day.
So let me show how I made these. First, I found a few cardboard mini cones from last year’s Christmas crafting supplies. Then, I realized the cones once you place them on a flat surface, look like a modern version of a tree. While looking for my acrylic paints, found two colors that complement my Christmas decor.
Please take a look at the photos below, where I’m showing you how to paint the cones with pink and teal acrylic paint. I used three coats of paint for each cone. Then the following afternoon, I added light yellow brush strokes to a couple of the painted cones.
Super easy! And the results are pretty and elegant. Don’t you think?

I haven’t bought one thing and I plan to hit the after Christmas sales for more crafting supplies and such. So much to do! Though, I’m a little proud of myself that I have scaled back on my to-do list and tried to have less stress and more time to enjoy the holiday season.
Please drop me a note and let me know what you think. I always love hearing from you!
Happy crafting,
Ursula
