DIY Monstera Leaves

Hello! Today I’m sharing with you a DIY monstera leaves I made with felt. The idea came to me when I was on Pinterest and discovered a few projects inspired by the awesome monstera leaf.

DIY Monstera Leaves Materials and Tutorial

• Green felt
• Pink felt
• Template
• Sharp scissors
• Fabric Glue
• Floral wire
• Pink suede tape
• 20mm cupped pink sequins

Part 1

Step 1: Download and print my monstera template and cut the felt as shown in the photos above.

Step 2: Glue the pink felt on top of the green felt and in between these two, add floral wire. The floral wire will be the stem of the monstera leaves.

Step 3: Glue pink suede in the middle of the leaf to evoke the “vein” of the leaf.

 

Step 4: Glue pink sequins on the pink area of the leaf.

Step 5: Repeat the steps above to make the “back” of the leaf. This time you will glue the pink shapes that remained from the pink felt of the leaf.

 

Make as many monstera leaves and craft away!
