I am Pusheen the cat party
Do you know who is Pusheen the cat? Pusheen is a lovely grey tabby cat created by American cartoonist Claire Belton and Andrew Duff for a comic strip on their website, Everyday Cute.
My daughter discovered Pusheen during one of our Barnes and Noble outings. She was engrossed in this book and shortly after that begged me to buy her a Pusheen stuffed animal. This happened around last Christmas 2018, so I bought her a Pusheen as a Christmas gift.
Fast forward to May 2019, and we had a Pusheen the cat birthday party theme! Take a look below at what we did and get inspired to meet Pusheen. You might have a Pusheen the cat birthday party in your new future ;)
I am Pusheen the cat party banner in progress
Above, I made a banner in photoshop using clipart of Pusheen and donut clipart. Turned out super cute. In between each letter, I added one pink pom (which I made with my daughter.)

One of my favorite blogs had a donut garland printable. I had these printed on cardstock and then I used a 2.5″ circle punch to make “donuts confetti.”
I am Pusheen the cat party table
Eeeeek loved how it all came together. The balloons are the prettiest balloons I’ve ever seen, and I found them at my local “Everything Party.” The cups are “robin egg blue” from “Party City.”
I am Pusheen the cat party coloring contest
We started the party with a relaxing activity. Coloring! Used the pages from this coloring book and the girls had a blast coloring away.

All the girls having a great time coloring while my daughter is reading to all them the book “I am Pusheen.”
I am Pusheen the cat party donuts
Finally, I added donuts in a few spots around the house. Why donuts? Pusheen loves donuts and they go great with the theme.
Until next time!
